Synopsis:

City of Life and Death takes place in 1937, during the height of the Second Sino-Japanese War. The Imperial Japanese Army has just captured the then-capital of the Republic of China, Nanjing. What followed was known as the Nanking Massacre, or the Rape of Nanking, a period of several weeks wherein tens of thousands of Chinese soldiers and civilians were killed. The film tells the story of several figures, both historical and fictional, including a Chinese soldier, a schoolteacher, a Japanese soldier, a foreign missionary, and John Rabe, a Nazi businessman who would ultimately save thousands of Chinese civilians.....

While in the hospital for a tomography of the brain of his autistic daughter Sarah, Ben becomes upset when there is a power failure. He decides to leave the hospital with Sarah, while the nurse Emily tries to convince him to leave Sarah for further treatment. They get the elevator with three other passengers, and suddenly the elevator stops; when the door opens, people has vanished from the hospital, the environment is creepy and they are chased by devilish monsters. They find that they are trapped in the hospital, and the creatures seem to be hunting Sarah.....

Synopsis:

A newly-wedded couple, Dick and Gina, heads off to their honeymoon taking a deserted road to get there. While driving at night, Gina is aroused by Dick's hand movements on her leg while driving, causing them to hit a man. Scared for the man's life, the two decided to put him in the car whilst looking for a hospital. As the two were arguing in the car, the man wakes up and starts cursing and screaming in agony. When Dick tries to calm him down, the stranger asked for a cigarette and Gina hands one to him. As she lit up his cigarette for him, the man tells her he didn't mean to hurt her and told her to leave Dick.

Not long after, the two are very spooked by the man's attitude and questioned each other how to get out of there. The man answered, "There's only one way out" and starts to strangle Dick. Gina was forced to take control of the swerving car and took it to a full stop. Dick drags the man out and stoned him to death. Again, the two put him in the car but in the trunk instead. As they were driving, Dick starts to question if she was cheating because of what the man had said earlier to her. Gina merely replied she has never seen him before and they started to hear noises coming from the trunk. They stopped and Dick went out to check the corpse and they both decided to bury it by going off the main road......
